Something about Yacht Club "Neptun"

Yacht Club "Neptun" from Gdansk has more than 120 members. The yacht harbour in Gorki Zachodnie is a home place for 90 boats, from 5,5 to 12 meters long. There are about 400 persons sailing, family members and friends. Yacht Club "Neptun" is lovely placed in Gorki Zachodnie in Gdansk on a point in river fork, between Wisla Martwa and Wisla Smiala rivers.

Owing to clever and long-range management, the club is not only getting new members and boats. It has recently enlarged its area too. The new piece of land has been bought in 1997, the new quays have been constructed.

The yacht harbour in Gorki Zachodnie is the result of the efforts of the club members, who have never been waiting for money from authorities and institutions. Yacht Club "Neptun" was established in 1957 as a club belonging to a company PRCiP. Now Yacht Club "Neptun" is a boat-owners` own club. You can meet members of the club sailing on lakes and seas, all over the year.

The club is organizing races for cruising boats four times a year.
